Negative Lab was founded in 2017 by LA-based photographer Brian Wertheim, with the intention of creating a film lab that is run by working photographers. Photography exists at the intersection of art and science but we believe that a creative vision is needed to provide excellent and consistent film scans.

As the lab grows, we intend to always retain our core ethos: your film will be handled by working photographers. We understand the magic and mystery of film, and will always treat your rolls like they’re our own.
